Behrooz P. Vida has been practicing bankruptcy law for 30 years.  After graduating from Texas Tech University School of Law, Behrooz started handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases for Fort Worth debtors.  Since then he has expanded his representations for Chapter 11 debtors and for creditors.  He is also the firm’s primary litigation attorney.  Beginning in January of 2020, Behrooz is a Chapter 7 Trustee and a Subchapter V Trustee in Fort Worth. Behrooz is one of the few attorneys certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in both consumer bankruptcy law and business bankruptcy law.

Behrooz’s commitment to legal excellence has earned him several honors. Most recently, Behrooz was invited to become a Fellow in the very prestigious American College of Bankruptcy. He has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly Magazine every year since 2003, and he has been named Best Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney by Fort Worth Magazine and 360 West magazines.  Behrooz is often invited to speak and present at seminars and bar association conferences, and his reputation in the local legal community has earned him Martindale-Hubbell‘s prestigious “AV” rating, indicating the highest levels of professionalism and ethical standards.

Outside of his practice, Behrooz has taught as an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University School of Law, formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law from 1998 to 2015.
